FINE FOOD DIGEST/WOWME! DESIGN COMPETITION
TERMS & CONDITIONS. These Terms and Conditions shall be binding when entering.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter.
One entry per business.
Entry and participation in this competition shall be deemed an unconditional
acceptance by the entrant of these Terms. All entry instructions and any other
specific details relating to the competition or the prizes form part of these
Terms.
By entering the competition entrants will be deemed to have read and understood
these rules and be bound by them.
Strictly one prize.
Competition entry deadline is 15th October 2010.
Winner will be notified by 15th November 2010.
Decision of the Judges will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entered
into.
Entries will be entered automatically upon submission. No responsibility will
be taken for any entries that are illegible, misdirected, lost for technical
or other reasons or received after the closing date.
Entrants agree to co-operate and comply with all reasonable requests of the organisers
and its agents and employees in connection with the competition.
Prize will consist of consultancy services from WowMe! Design Ltd up to the value
of £5,000. This does not include photography, print, packaging materials or the
costs of any other bought-in services or products associated with the re-design.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
The organiser, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors and representatives are not
responsible for claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection
with the prize.
If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after all reasonable efforts having
been made by the organiser, then they may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit
without any liability to the winner for having done so.
Entrants are liable for their costs to access telephone, mobile or computer networks
and attend meetings, which may be held at the offices of WowMe! Design, Fine
Food Digest or the winner, by mutual agreement.
All entries become the property of Fine Food Digest magazine and may be used
for marketing purposes.
Entrants undertake not to disclose, reveal, communicate or otherwise make public
to anyone at any time any information relating to the judges, their business,
personnel, servants, agents or officers.
Entrants may not publicise their involvement in the competition, or the fact
that you have won a prize, without the prior written permission of Fine Food
Digest.
The winner will be required by Fine Food Digest to participate in a photo session,
and acknowledge that Fine Food Digest has the right to use such publicity photos
in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.
Contest entries and material submitted in connection with any contest (whether
in written, audio, electronic or visual form, or any combination of those) or
any photographs, video and/or film footage and/or audio recording taken of competitors
become the property of Fine Food Digest, which may use the material in any medium
and in any reasonable manner it sees fit. Copyright in any such material remains
the sole property of Fine Food Digest.
Fine Food Digest may publicise, broadcast or otherwise disclose a competitor's
name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of his or her voice in
advertising or promotional activities. Fine Food Digest may promote or advertise
that a winner has won a contest.
Fine Food Digest may incorporate information from entrants in any database to
be used for the purpose of its business. Upon entry into the competition a contestant
will automatically be asked permission for Fine Food Digest to use of personal
data and this information will be retained in accordance with the Data Protection
Act.
Fine Food Digest is not liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability
or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the competition. This exclusion
does not include any liability for negligence by Fine Food Digest or death or
personal injury arising out of such negligence.
Fine Food Digest shall have no liability in respect of the competition on behalf
of third parties (for example, sponsors) except in respect of death or personal
injury directly attributable to Fine Food Digest.
Fine Food Digest shall not be liable to perform any of its obligations under
the competition or in respect of the prizes where it is unable to do so as a
result of circumstances beyond its control and shall not be liable to compensate
entrants in such circumstances.
