Bound in modern half red polished calf with gilt fly emblem in decorative panelled spine, green leather title labels, gilt top. THIS HAS BEEN BOUND TO MATCH Ephemera: Handbook of Angling, Teaching Fly Fishing, Trolling, Bottom Fishing and Salmon Fishing. 1847, London, first edition. 363 pp, text illus., 19th century half polished red calf with gilt fly emblems in decorative panelled spine, green leather title labels, gilt top. Clean pair. There is a very slight difference in the bindings but within a few years this will hardly be noticeable when the gilt has darkened a little.
